World Interiors Day will be celebrated by ABID (Association of Architects Builders Interior Designers & Allied Business) on July 15 and 16 at Quest Mall with a unique theme of `Illusion and Ingenuity’.Keeping in mind the reflection of creativity and imagination, this event incorporates two different art installations -Glass Winged Butterfly, and City Dwellers.
It is an annual worldwide event that aims to draw the attention of the public to the world of interior design and also to promote the importance of interior design as a profession. This profession is comparatively new; through rigorous process of education and experience it is constantly evolving and progressing. Interior Design is about finding creative and artistic design solutions to enhance the quality of life and to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the end user.
They not only apply their imagination to a structure but also enhance it for the best human experience. As a society, we tend to take our living areas for granted, yet we must realise the intensity and dedication an interior designer undergoes to make our lives comfortable.
Illusion & Ingenuity: An illusion is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organises and interprets sensory stimulation. Ingenuity is often inherent in creative individuals, and thus is considered hard to separate from individual capital.
